Theresa T. Nguyen, DO, is a board-eligible ophthalmologist who specializes in corneal disease and treatment, and performs eye surgeries including corneal transplants, LASIK, Intacs, implantable collamer lenses, and cataract surgery. Dr. Nguyen also treats eye disease such as glaucoma, dry eye syndrome, and keratoconus.
She received her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Davis, and her medical degree from Touro University in California. She completed her internship and ophthalmology residency at Midwestern University, and completed a cornea fellowship at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary. She has a medical license in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. Her affiliations include the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, and the American Osteopathic Association. She speaks fluent Vietnamese.
