The Rockville Eye Physicians are board-certified ophthalmologists who specialize in cataract surgery, glaucoma treatments, and all laser LASIK. We have been performing cataract surgery in Rockville since 1989 and all laser LASIK at the TLC Laser Eye Center since 1999. The practice currently uses the latest technology, including the IntraLase, Allegretto, Wavelight, and VISX STAR S4 lasers to treat a wide range of prescriptions. Lawrence S. Frank, MD

Dr. Lawrence Frank is a board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in all laser LASIK, glaucoma treatment and cataract surgery with premium IOLs, such as Toric and ReSTOR in Rockville. He has performed eye surgeries for more than 20 years in the Washington, D.C. area and is a well-known and respected physician. Following his graduation from the George Washington University of Medicine and Health Sciences, Dr. Frank joined the military as a flight surgeon in the U.S. Air Force. He is a former Captain and Chief of Aeromedical Services. Read more.

Seema A. Gupta, MD

Dr. Seema Gupta is a board-certified ophthalmologist. Originally from the Chicago area, she attended Northwestern University for both her undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering and her medical degree. While there, she started a free smoking cessation clinic and tutored inner city high school students in math, English, and science. She also spent three summers at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, where she performed research in ophthalmology and neuroscience and was the Intern of the Year. Read more.

Theresa T. Nguyen, DO

Theresa T. Nguyen, DO, is a board-eligible ophthalmologist who specializes in corneal disease and treatment, and performs eye surgeries including corneal transplants, LASIK, Intacs, implantable collamer lenses, and cataract surgery. Dr. Nguyen also treats eye disease such as glaucoma, dry eye syndrome, and keratoconus. Read more.
